A Very Zen Addition to OKC!  July, 2020

A very unique and zen B&B in a quiet NE corner of OKC has just opened! WangShi Palace is a perfect blend of luxury, culture and comfort. The indoor pool is a great place to relax, or retreat to the comforts of one of the 20+ rooms available - two of which float above the pool area! The WangShi team is friendly, helpful and will ensure your stay if fantastic!

Fantastic Find! November 2020

Such a great B&B find!!! We held a bachelorette party night, they gave us a quit hallway so we wouldn’t disturb the other guest, met our every need, and the breakfast was fantastic!! The rooms are large and comfy. We slept like babies. The limo service is a very nice touch too!

Beautiful Place! May 2021

We loved our weekend at the Wangshi China Palace. We took advantage of the limo service. We swam in the pool and relaxed in the hot tub. We enjoyed the view from our private balcony and porch swing. The owners and staff are wonderful and friendly. I would definitely recommend a stay at this beautiful B&B.

Second time  September, 2020

We enjoyed ourselves so much the first visit, we wanted to return. We were so glad we did! This was a staycation for us and very relaxing. We enjoyed swimming and just hanging out on the property. This property is such a beautiful gem. The owners and staff are so sweet, they even called us by name. They were so attentive and met all of our needs. Once again we will be back.

Best kept secret in OKC! August, 2020

After several canceled plans for my best friends bachelorette party due to COVID-19, we found this little gem unexpectedly and I am so glad we did! The owners are the sweetest couple and they were more than accommodating. We were greeted with champagne and offered a snack. The decor was so cute, the pool and hot tub were very relaxing, and I had the best bubble bath ever! The location is secluded with trees all around and we could see deer from our balcony, but only about 10 minutes from NW OKC and Chisolm Creek area for restaurants, shopping, and activities such as Top Golf and an escape room. We had access to a fire pit out on the balcony and if you ask them they will take you out in the limo. This was a perfect little "Staycation" for us and we are already planning to return in the future. I would highly recommend this place for couples, family events, or a girls getaway.

Relaxing resort feel August, 2020

This is a rare find in OKC. This was our first stay at a bed and breakfast and it was a great experience. There was a quaint, romantic ambience throughout the property. There are so many personal touches that made the stay so special. The owner and his wife are sooo sweet. They attended to our every need. It was a great, quick getaway right here in town. We will be back soon.

My family and I stayed here on our cross country trip west and there are no words to describe our adventure that will do WangShi proper justice. It was honestly the best B&B we've ever stayed at.

The owners are the sweetest, most genuine couple. They made us feel so welcome. Not to mention, they were incredibly accommodating for a family with a young child.

The breakfast feast they made us in the morning was second to none! We are still full from the incredible variety they offered us. It certainly made our trip that day a whole lot easier without having to stop for food.

We will NEVER stay anywhere else when visiting friends in OKC moving forward. Not to mention, when the pandemic is over we will be able to enjoy the amusement park that was less than a mile away from this residence.

The staff was amazing! And we can't thank them enough for their helpfulness and attention to detail. Without question, we are looking forward to the next time we travel through Oklahoma. We already know most of our family members have marked down WangShi whenever they're passing through town. We can't thank them enough, making us feel so welcome.

Our trip was beyond words thanks to you. See you soon.

What a hidden gem. So unique and exotic while still feeling right at home. We had the privilege of visiting with Dow, the owner, at breakfast. He was such a pleasure! It's clear the love he has put into this property over the years. So many personal touches and beautiful designs. We will definitely be back!!

My husband and I had to go to Oklahoma for a funeral and had not made reservations. After the funeral we started searching for a place to stay. Somehow we came across WandShi Chinese Palace and knew we had to try it. If you like trying out new and different experiences you must visit WangShi! It's owned my an elderly architect (Dow) that designed it and his younger Chinese wife (Victoria). The B&B just opened in June of this year, amidst Covid, so it's not very busy and things are new and fresh.
Dow is so much fun to visit with. He's a Marine that worked with artillery so he's hard of hearing but he still has his wits and humor. He's very successful and has an interesting story. His wife Victoria is so sweet and accommodating. She makes a lovely buffet breakfast but if you'd like a fried egg instead of the scrambled offering she will fry you up some eggs. If you don't want to go to breakfast (6:40-10:30 while we were there) they will deliver a complimentary breakfast to your room. Breakfast in bed! The entire staff is very helpful and aim to please.
The palace started out as a mid century modern home that was glass on the back and had a pool out back. Dow enclosed three pool in an atrium and built guest rooms all around it. I think he said there were 26 rooms. Look at the rooms hanging over the pool! It's a mid century modern with Chinese accents everywhere. Victoria even sells Chinese jade jewelry in cases by the check in desk. All rooms come standard with a popcorn popper in case you want to stay in the room and watch a movie. The grounds have several areas to walk and a picnic area in the back. There is some exercise equipment by the pool if you feel the need for cardio but I was told there are walking trails too. The lounge has a well stocked bar, a pool table and table tennis. There are also comfy couches in front of a fireplace to sit and visit. Free WiFi and coffee/tea makers.
Valet parking is free and they will even send a complimentary limo to pick you up at the airport.
We got a kick out out of being in a unique hotel and Dow kept us entertained at the bar that night.
If you're an open, friendly spirit I would highly recommend trying WanShi. We had a lot of fun!
